The game and your data
Estandarte offers a campaign and single-player matches, plus optional online multiplayer for two to four players. You do not need to create a player account or provide an email address to play. Single-player modes work without connecting to the multiplayer or reporting services.
The game has no advertisements, in-app purchases or advertising tracking. It does not request access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone or photos, and does not use the advertising identifier. Online play uses the Internet and the technical identifiers described below.
Nicknames and online matches
Before connecting, you choose a nickname and accept the community rules. Your nickname is between 2 and 16 characters long and is shown to participants in your room and during the match. It does not have to be your real name. Avoid including personal information in it. There is no text chat, private messaging between players or voice chat.
The app generates a random 32-character installation identifier and keeps it on your device. This identifier recognizes the same installation in rooms, supports player blocking and links reports. It is not an account, and the game does not link it to an email address, telephone number or social profile. Changing your nickname does not change this identifier.
We use GD-Sync to connect participants and relay the match. One player hosts the room and runs the simulation. Creating or joining a room transmits your nickname, installation identifier, accepted rules version, room code, temporary connection identifiers, civilization selection, ready status, game commands and the match state needed to play together. GD-Sync and the participants in the room receive the data needed for these features. Rooms are accessed using a code; sharing it allows another person to try to join.
The GD-Sync plugin also sends the service a technical identifier provided by the operating system, separate from Estandarte's random installation identifier. The service uses connection and usage information to operate and provide statistics about players, connection duration and data transfer. These statistics help us understand multiplayer usage and capacity. They are not used to display advertising.
Communications with GD-Sync are encrypted in transit. The provider processes the data to manage and relay matches. Servers and network infrastructure process the technical information needed to establish and protect connections. The provider's privacy policy is available at https://www.gd-sync.com/privacy-policy.
Leaving multiplayer disconnects the session and stops new data transmissions for that session. We do not use GD-Sync's player accounts, cloud saves, friend lists or global leaderboard features.
Blocking and reporting
You can block or report another participant from Players. Blocking is stored locally using their installation identifier. It hides their nickname and prevents you from remaining in a room together: if you are the host, that player is removed; if you are a participant, you leave the room. You can manage blocks from Blocked players. The host can also remove players. These features do not verify a person's real identity, and installation identifiers can change when app data is cleared.
Reporting is voluntary and requires pressing Send report. The report sends One Week Games the reported player's nickname and installation identifier, your installation identifier, the selected reason, any optional details you enter (up to 500 characters), a random report identifier and the game version. The server records when it receives the report. No email address is requested and no conversations, photos, files or screenshots are attached automatically. Avoid including unnecessary personal information in the details.
We use reports to review possible rule violations, address player conduct problems and protect the service against abuse. Reports are sent over HTTPS to our moderation service and stored in a private database hosted with Cloudflare Workers and D1. They are not displayed publicly or sent as a message to the reported player.
To limit abusive submissions, the server processes the connection's IP address and calculates a protected reference that changes each day. The reports database stores that reference, not the original IP address. It is not used for advertising or to determine your location. Hosting infrastructure may process connection information to provide and protect the service under its own policies: https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/.
Information stored on your device
Estandarte stores single-player saves, completed missions, medals, best times, and language, audio, interface and performance preferences locally. Your profile also stores your nickname, installation identifier, accepted rules version and blocked installation identifiers. The block list is used on your device and is not uploaded as a contact list.
The app disables automatic Android cloud backup. Some device manufacturers allow app data to be transferred between devices through system features. If you use them, transfer and restoration depend on those systems' settings and policies. One Week Games does not manage those transfers.
Retention and deletion
Local progress and preferences remain until they are replaced or deleted. On Android, open Settings, go to Apps, select Estandarte and use Clear storage or Clear data. Names may vary. Uninstalling removes local data unless the system offers an option to keep it and you select that option. Clearing this data removes saves, progress, your nickname, installation identifier and blocks. If system backups exist, also review their restoration settings.
Rooms close when all participants leave. GD-Sync's technical data and statistics are managed under its privacy policy; closing a room does not mean they are deleted immediately. That policy does not publish a specific retention period for each statistic or identifier.
We apply a 90-day retention period to reports and their associated network reference. The service deletes expired reports when it receives a new report or a visit to its privacy or community-rules pages. If the service is idle, cleanup runs on the next eligible request. Security records and technical backups managed by the hosting provider are subject to that provider's retention and protection measures.
To request access, correction or deletion of information related to reports, multiplayer or support, email spoleto48@gmail.com. Include your nickname, an approximate date and the minimum information needed to locate it. We may request additional information needed to verify that the request concerns you. Where appropriate, we will coordinate the request with the relevant provider. Do not include passwords or payment information. Clearing local data does not by itself delete information already sent to external services. There is no Estandarte account to delete.
Contacting us
If you email support, we receive your email address and the information you voluntarily include. We use it to respond and resolve issues. Correspondence is handled through our email provider and retained for as long as needed to address the inquiry or meet an applicable obligation. You may request deletion at the same address, subject to mandatory retention. The game does not send emails or crash reports automatically.
Google services and policy changes
Google Play and your operating system separately manage downloads, purchases of the game, updates and their services. Their data processing is governed by their policies and your settings. Estandarte does not receive your payment card details or use a Google account to save matches.
We will update this policy when our data handling changes. The date above identifies this revision. For privacy questions or requests about your data, contact spoleto48@gmail.com.
